James E Dodds, 66, of 1231 N. Main St. Ext. died suddenly on Monday at his residence.
Born in Penn Township, Oct. 11, 1909, he was the son of Williamson Bartley and Ella Mary Reith Dodds. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jane Billman Dodds, June 18, 1968.
He was a retired employee of Butler Armco. Mr. Dodds was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Butler, a member of Armco Veterans Club; Armco Country Club, and Butler Elks Lodge 170; and Chicora Loyal Order of the Moose, 962.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Sally Ann) Ekas of Poland, Ohio; two granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. J. Floyd (Erma) Dawson of Clumerville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held today. Burial was in Butler County Memorial Park.
