Funeral services for R. C. Travis Jr., 59, of Kirbyville were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home.
The Rev. Robert Pate, pastor of Kirbyville United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery near Buna with Masonic graveside rites.
Travis was killed about 4 p.m. Thursday in a one-car accident near Woodville.
Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Ethel Travis, one son Jerry Travis of Virginia, a foster son Johnny Grant of Kirbyville, his mother Mrs. Mellie Travis, of Kirbyville, a brother H. A. Travis of Abilene, three sisters, Mrs. Fred Giles, of Beaumont, Mrs. H. H. Harris, and Mrs. P. G. McLemore, both of Baton Rouge, and five grandchildren.
