"Molly Younglove [wife of Moses Wilder] was most likely the mother of only Samuel and Amasa. Asa appears to be the son by another wife, not yet identified. Other children are by the third wife of Moses, Grace Billings. They include, Polly, perhaps a (sic) Rebecca, Lucy, Palmer B., Esther, Moses Jr. and Christopher."

"Currently researching Moses Wilder, b. 24 Feb 1757 Wrentham, MA. Son of Aaron and Priscilla Wilder who moved to Killingly, CT abt. 1756-7. Moses Wilder, m. 2 Dec. 1777 at Thompson to Molly (Mary) Younglove. Moses was apparently a land speculator in the Thompson area abt. 1779. In March 1795, Moses bought land in Whitington, VT. In 1805, I find Moses in Pawlet, VT, where he sold the land from his deceased wife Molly's grandfather's estate. In March 1806, Moses sold land in Pawlet to ???. In 1809 I find Moses in the Henrietta/Pittsford area of Ontario Co., NY until 1822, and then Monroe Co. Moses probably died late 1821 or early 1822. His children from his marriage to Molly (Mary) Younglove were:

1. Samuel, b. 2 Jun 1780, at Windham, CT., m. Sybil Chapman.

2. Amasa Wilder, b. abt. 1782 at Thompson CT., m. 16 Nov 1806 at Pawlet, VT - Joanna Nelson.
