Birth: Apr. 5, 1805
Death: Apr. 8, 1895

Cuba Journal, April 12, 1895:
MRS. MORGAN
Delilah Burge was born in Licking county, Ohio, April 5, 1804; was married to Jonas Morgan Sept. 9, 1828, died April 8, 1895, aged 91 years and three days. She and her husband came to this vicinity at a very early day, and they experienced their full share of the privations and trials of pioneer life. She lived to see the fourth generation. She was ever kind to her children and grandchildren, and was ever ready to assist the suffering and needy. No night was too dark, no storm too severe to keep her from answering the call of the sick. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. N. M. Douglass on Tuesday and the body laid away in the Cuba cemetery.

Delilah, without you and Jonas I would not be here. I want to thank you for the price you have paid to give our family a better life. Please be my guardian angel and help me find our roots -- past and present.
