Gabriel T. Harrower, son of David P. Harrower (1805–1875) and Emily Cook Harrower (1809 - 1904), was named after his first cousin, Col. Gabriel Theodore Harrower, 161st NY Infantry Regiment. After the war he lived in Lindley, Steuben County NY, and Tioga, Tioga County PA, working as a farm hand. Census records indicate that he was married and widowed between 1880 and 1900, but the name of his wife is unknown. Cause of death: pneumonia.
