Mrs. J. A. Adams, nee Miss Joanna Kennedy, aged 50 years, died very suddenly at her home, near Chestnut Mountain, while sitting in a chair. She leaves only one son, was a good woman and highly respected by all who knew her. The burial will take place today at the Kennedy Family graveyard, near her home.
