Dear Mae, you were so loved as Popeye's gal Olive. You should of got Olives voice for Hanna Barbera cartoons. Shame on them. No one will ever be Olive but you and the Sea Hags voice in the early 60's was the greatest. We will never forget you.
- Huge Popeye / Olive fan

To a lovely woman and talented comedienne. While your name may not be as known as your work, you are as big a star as Lombard, Dunne and Lee.
