William Penn was one of three Justice of the peace in Dade co. Missouri. The first court session was held in his cabin. The cabin now rest's in Everton, Missouri Park. William served in the War of 1812. He was one of the oldest settler's in Dade county, Missouri. Map and picture's were provided by Thomas Heseltine. Ancestry.com had this information about the cemetery; Davidson Cemetery survey information, has the location: Washington Township, on the Limestone Prairie, Twp 30 Rge 27 Sec 10. Overgrown, evidence of open range for roaming stock. East off road on a rise in the field. The Old Limestone School, was once located across the road from this location,it has since been moved elsewhere. William Penns Headstone has fallen over.
