Mary Ellen Davis was married to Fletcher Royal Murphy in about 1914. They had five children;
1. Percy Murphy, (died young);
2. Lillie Mae Murphy Mims Pallett, (buried at Charity);
3. Lula Mae Murphy Campbell, (she married a James Campbell who was in the Army & they had one daughter named Jimmie Mae);
4. Arlene Jasper "Teeny" Murphy, (born January 13, 1927, died September 12, 1991 in Triangle, Prince William County, Virginia; she married a Bright & they had one son & lived in Norfolk, Virginia);
5. Leonard Edward Murphy,(he was the only one that lived with them at Creeds, his sisters were all married, he was born January 31, 1939 and died in June of 1985 in Suffolk County New York)
