John Crouch, 84-year-old retired Macon and Blue Mound farmer, died at 6:20 a. m. yesterday at St. Mary’s Hospital following an extended illness.
Born Oct. 12, 1870, in Missouri, Mr. Crouch was married to Nora A. Clark on Aug. 201894. She, along with a daughter, preceded him in death.
Mr. Crouch farmed most of his life around Blue Mound and Macon and retired to his home in Macon several years ago.
A member of Masonic Lodge 180, Moweaqua, he is survived by nine grand-children and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ater Funeral Home in Macon, where friends may call after 3 p. m. tomorrow. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery north of Blue Mound.
