The wife of Charles "Charley" Blackstock; Charley was a building and road construction contractor in Rome, Georgia. He was responsible for the demolition of the old Rome courthouse and the construction of the new one. Family history, according to the book Clan Blackstock, claims Charley built the first paved road from Floyd county to Atlanta.
