Henry Clay Eddy, youngest of seven children of Augustus Eddy and Olive Sanford, was a Private in the Union Army. He volunteered to the One Hundred and Fifty-second infantry, which entered the service 16 March, 1865. He was a sargeant. He died in Clarysville Hospital, Allegany Co., Maryland.
