Funeral services for Mildred L. Callender will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden. Mildred was born Nov. 29, 1944, in Minden, and entered into rest Sept. 28, 2014, in Shreveport.
Her parents, Archie L. McDow Sr. and Hazel B. McDow preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Frank J. Callender of Minden; sons, Charles Callender of Minden, Barry Callender and wife Janice of Dubberly and Kevin Callender of Baltimore; daughters, Sue Smith of Dubberly and Patsy Edmundson of Cotton Valley; brother, Archie L.
