MARINE ON 2D TOUR OF DUTY IN VIET KILLED
A marine sergeant on his second tour of duty in Viet Nam was killed there July 4 when his unit was attacked by North Vietnamese as they attempted to retrieve the bodies of fallen comrades, his family reported yesterday.
Mr. and Mrs. Konstantine Ahinzow, 6402 Joliet rd., La Grange, were notified Saturday of the death of their son, Sgt. Tony Ahinzow, 19. Ahinzow, who attended Bogan High school, joined the marines two years ago and first went to Viet Nam a year ago. He returned to the United States four months ago after having been wounded when a jeep in which he was riding hit a mine.
After being home 30 days, he volunteered to return. Born in Germany, Ahinzow came to the United States with his parents as a small boy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Christine Dorgan.
