Clifford Lockwood was traveling with his mother, Florence and sister Lilian as second class passengers on board the Lusitania.
His father, Dick, remained in New Jersey.
Clifford, his mother and sister were all lost in the disaster. Clifford's body was not recovered.
His maternal uncle filed a docket against the United States in favor of his brother-in-law, Dick Lockwood, who had yet to become a naturalized American citizen.
