His name was Big Boy, and he was only two years old. Somehow Big Boy got away from his family and his family searched desperately for him, but they did not find him in time.
Instead, the young Miniature Pinscher was discovered by individuals that felt the need to hurt the lost dog rather than help him. A witness has told the police that several teens were beating the little dog with a stick. Their cruelty escalated from there. The dog was discovered in an alley near 38th and Lloyd, he had been horribly burned. His injuries were so severe that he had to be humanely euthanized.

The Humane Society of the United States announced that there is a $2500 reward offered for the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for this despicable act of cruelty against an innocent creature.
A 13 year-old-boy was arrested Saturday in connection with beating a two-year-old Miniature Pinscher named Big Boy with a stick, dousing him with gasoline, and setting the small dog on fire.
Big Boy had been let outside by his owners, but never returned home. When the owners tried to find the dog, witnesses told them they saw two boys hitting the small dog with a stick. The dog was discovered in an alley suffering from severe burns all over his body.
