The sad death of Miss Anna Levins of Putman street has left a pang of sorrow in the hearts of all who knew her. Miss Levins had just attained her twentieth year. and the untimely passing away of her who moved among us until but a short time before her death .has cast a gloom upon us and impresses us with the uncertainty of life."Tis true death has removed her from us; but we are consoled with the thought that another angel was wanted and He who gave her to us called her home to enjoy the reward which her beautiful life merited.
The funeral took place Thurday morning. a high mass of requiem being read by Rev. Father Hopkins at Holy Rosary church . Interment was made in the Cathedral cemetery. The bearers were cousins James, Frank, John,James F. and Edward Saltry and Patrick Calkin. Miss Levins is survived by her mother Sarah and the following sisters and brothers: Mary, James, Irene and George. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the many friends who sympathized with them in their sad bereavement and for the beautiful floral tributes.
