Roy Bryant Sr., 63, of Ruleville Died Thursday, Sept 1, 1994, at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home Chapel in Ruleville. Burial followed in the Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville.

Mr. Bryant served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Jo Orman Bryant of Ruleville; a daughter, Carol Ann Coats of Pontotoc; three sons, Roy Bryant Jr. of Bridge City, Texas, Thomas L. Bryant of Raleigh, N.C., and Frank Bryant of Greenville; three step-sons, Bruce Gregg of Estes Park, Colo., Gary Gregg of Hernando, and David Gregg of Collierville, Tenn.; Three sisters, Doris Bryant of Ruleville, Mary Louise Campbell of Ruleville and Alene Winston of Bellbrook, Ohio; a brother Raymond Bryant of Gadsden, Tenn.; a half-brother, Dan W. Milam of Eupora; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
