Mrs. E. L. Clure Dies
After Long Illness
Mrs. E. L. Clure, aged 80 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter in Troy, Okla.
The body was brought to Davis and prepared for burial by Hutchins & Sons. Funeral services will be at Joy at 5 p.m. today followed by burial in Green Hill cemetery, Davis.
Mrs. Clure had been ill several years following a stroke of paralysis. Since her husband's death eight years ago she had lived with her son, J. A. Clure, a teacher in the Joy school.
She was the only surviving child of Mrs. Malinda Clay, a centenarian residing at Joy.
Besides her mother and son she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. E. Ketner, Wynnewood; Mrs. Lucy Cowger, Healdton; Mrs. Flora Black, Clayton, and Mrs. Bertie Simms, Troy.
