Birth: Jan. 23, 1759
South Carolina, USA
Death: Nov. 18, 1850
New Brunswick, Canada

I believe this information to be true:
He served in the Revolutionary War, was at the Battle of Savannah, and Cowpen’s South Carolina. He moved to the Province on New Brunswick after the Revolutionary War, and lived in the Parish of Prince William for fifty years. At the age of ninety he was hopefully converted to the religion of Christ and lived a devoted Christian the remaining few months of his life. His mind was tranquil and serene; No terror in his look was seen A Saviour’s smile dispelled the gloom And smoothed his passage to the tomb. On his headstone located in the Old Burying Ground, Fredericton, also known as the Loyalist Burial Ground.

Moved his family to Prince William, York County in 1810.
