Son of Oscar & Stacy Ann Burch Andrews
He spent his boyhood and grew to manhood in Nodaway County, MO.
On 30 Mar 1918 he married Mamie Vera Barnhill Anderson.
On the 25 of July he was called to fight in World War I, and went to training at Camp Pike in Arkansas. He was assigned to Company A, 158 Infantry and was sent to France. He contracted TB and was returned from France on 19 Apr 1919 and was discharged at Camp Dodge on 29 Apr 1919.
Lauron returned home to his wife Mamie to spend the rest of his life in ill health.
On 12 Dec 1924 he called his wife to his beside and requested that Ralph C, Clyde Stone, Dr. Carl Loy, Edward Andrews, Virgil Williams and Burch Damewood act as pall bearers. He later called the family together and made his last requests.
