Morgan Marlene Sigler, 23, died in the 2011 tornados that hit Tuscaloosa. She and three other friends, Blake Peek, Scott Atterton and Tillman Merritt were sheltering when the storm hit.
Morgan was a student at the University of Alabama (graphic design), a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and was very loving, caring, and artistic. She had a smile that would light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nana Marlene Volentine Sigler; grandparents, Earl Marona and Lauretta Morgan Marona.
Survivors include her parents, Al and Vega Sigler; brothers, Eric (Tara) Smith, Justin (Autumn) Sigler; grandparents, Howard and Jean Sigler; niece and nephew, Blake and Sadie Smith; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

TUSCALOOSA | A commencement will be held tonight at Coleman Coliseum for University of Alabama students whose May graduation ceremony was delayed because of the April 27 tornado.
The six students who died in the April 27 tornado — Scott Atterton, Danielle Downs, Ashley Harrison, Melanie Nicole Mixon, Morgan Marlene Sigler and Marcus Smith — will receive posthumous degrees in the 9 a.m. ceremony.
