Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Malcom's Brower Wann Chapel in Lewiston, Idaho, for Vonda Lee Covey Jewett.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Fairview Cemetery in Three Forks.
A reception for family and friends will be held following interment at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church annex.
Vonda died of cancer Friday, Sept. 26, 1997, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.
She was born in Bozeman on April 13, 1940, to Henry B. and Jeannetta Covey. Vonda was raised and educated in the Gallatin Valley and graduated from Willow Creek High School in 1958.
She married Tim S. Jewett June 20, 1958, in Willow Creek. Vonda worked in Three Forks for Johnston's Drug and was an operator for Mountain Bell.
Vonda and her family moved to Washington state in 1965 to follow construction work. She was the owner and operator of the Aster Motel in Clarkston, Wash.
Vonda was preceded in death by her father, Henry B. Covey.
She is survived by her sons, Tim C. Jewett and Bob H. Jewett of Clarkston, Wash.; mother, Jeannetta Covey of Three Forks; granddaughters, Courtney, Jillian and Danica Jewett of Clarkston, Wash.; special friend, Ken Glaspie of Clarkston, Wash.; brother and sister in law, William and Sheila Covey of East Helena; brother, Henry G. Covey of Quartzsite, Ariz.; sister, Peggy Cobb of Sedona, Ariz. Vonda is also survived by five nieces, two nephews and numerous aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
