FRITCH - Services for accident victim Bobby Shuping, 46, formerly of Fritch, were at 10:30 a.m. today in the First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. David Miller, pastor of the Borger Christian Center, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
Mr. Shuping was killed instantly at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday when he was involved in a one-car turnover about a mile from his Amarillo home.
Mr. Shuping was employed with Continental Telephone Company in Amarillo. Before moving to Amarillo, he had worked for Southwestern Bell in Borger for more than 20 years.
A native of Commerce, Mr. Shuping moved to Fritch in 1943. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, Janis Shields and Dryhona Cleveland, both of Amarillo; two step-daughters, Shelly and Paula, of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Shuping of Fritch; three sisters, Betty Barnes of Borger, Cecile Hefner of Terlton, Okla. and Ann Johnson of Monte Vista, Colo.; and one granddaughter.
