In the Area Obituaries section in the Aurora Beacon News, dated May 27, 1968, page 4:

Joseph A. Rigoni of Aurora Dies: Joseph A. Rigoni, 75, of 345 S. Lincoln Ave. died Saturday in St. Charles Hospital. He was born May 25, 1893, in Lockport. Mr. Rigoni was a member of the Knights of Columbus 736. Holy Name Society of St. Mary's Church, Lockport Moose Lodge, and the Italian American Club. Before his retirement in 1954 he was a salesman and assistant manager with John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co., and from 1954 to 1959 was a real estate broker.

Surviving are his widow, Hildegarde; one daughter, Mrs. Barrett (Vivian) Saville; three grandsons; two sisters, Miss Mary and Miss Rose Rigoni of Lockport; and three brothers, Albert and Victor of Lockport and Christian of Coal City. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday from the Daleiden Mortuary to St. Mary's Church at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Edward J. Connolly will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
