"Sugar C" was educated in the Houston County School System. She was a member of Houston Mt Zion Baptist Church in Bonaire, Georgia where she served on the Mother Board (as Mother of the Church), president of the Usher Board, member of the UBS of L Lodge #4, Sons and Daughters of Ruth, as Treasure of the Sparkling #10 and as president of the Evening Lights Social and Savings Club for 43 years.
She was marries to Lewis Bagley Jr.

3 Sons: George Bagley(Neva), Thudie Bagley(Brenda) and Robert Bagley.
2 Daughters: Maggie Smith and Bernice Johnson.
2 Devoted Granddaughters: Colliss Talton(Richard) and Gladys Morris(Isacce).
Services were held Friday, March 17,2006 in the Sanctuary of Greater Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia with Dr Walter L. Glover Jr. officiating.
