"Wedding at O.L. Jacobs Home Unusually Lovely. An unusually lovely wedding was that of Miss Alice B. Bachman and Everett A. McKinney which took place Friday night at the home of O. L. Jacobs, 516 West Myrtle street. The Rev. Walter Scott Buchanan, pastor of the First Christian church officiated.
Miss Bachman's wedding gown was in the pale flesh tints that have proved so popular this summer for bridal costumes. Her tulle small lace cap and she carried a bouquet of white roses and maidenhair fern.
Mrs. Ernest Bachman who was matron of honor was gowned in jade green crepe de chine. Orville Bachman, brother of the bride, was best man and the little niece of the bridegroom, Madaline Somerby was the ring bearer.
At the reception which followed, dainty ices and cake were served by Miss Vesta Jacobs, Miss Ruby McGraw and Mrs. O. L. Jacobs.
Mr. and Mrs. Mckinney will return from their honeymoon tomorrow and they will be at home at 1066 West Fifth street.
Mr. McKinney is an auto electrician and has made his home in Santa Ana for several years. His wife came here ten years ago from Williams, Ariz."

"McKinney--In Santa Ana, April 28 Alice Vera McKinney, aged 23 years. She is survived by her husband, Everett A. McKinney; one infant son, Everett Allie McKinney; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. L. A. Backman, of Placerville, Calif., and three brothers, Ernest Bachman and Orville Bachman, both of this city, and Royal Bachman, of Portervile. Services will be held Monday, May 1 at 10 am from the Winbigier Funeral home, 609 North Main street, with the Rev. C. F. Martin, pastor of the Orange Avenue Christian church, officiating, followed by interment in Fairhaven Cemetery."
"ALICE V. McKINNEY DIES UNEXPECTEDLY"
"Alice Vera McKinney, 28, resident of Santa Ana for the past 12 years, died at her home, 346 West Chestnut street yesterday. Death came unexpectedly following her removal yeserday from a hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Everett A. McKinney; 12 day old son, Everett Allie McKinney; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Bachman of Placerville, and three brothers, Ernest Bachman and Orville Bachman, both of Santa Ana and Royal Backman of Placerville.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 am in the chapel of Winbigler Funeral home, 609 North Main street, with the Rev. C. F. Martin, pastor fot the Orange Avenue Christian church officiating.
Interment will be made in Fairhaven Cemetery."
