Arthur A. Aguero, 64, passed away on Valentines Day, Feb. 14, 2007, at Hospice House. The family, lovingly offer him up to the Lord, and his birth mother, Elvera. Arthur was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was born a twin on Oct. 30, 1942, in Pueblo, Colo., to birth mother, Elvera Aguero and Benny Villanueva; parents, Conception and Simon Aguero; grandparents, Hope and Nacario Villanueva; all whom preceded him in death. He attended Centennial High School, served four years in the United States Air Force, worked 36 years in the Rail Mill, graduated from PCC with an associate degree in auto body. Arthur married the love of his life, Delia Gonzales, on Nov. 28, 1970; to this union three children were born. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Delia Aguero; children, Patrick Aguero, Stephanie Aguero (Rob), and Robyn Aguero; grandchildren, Joseph and Adam Aguero Vasquez; siblings, Simon (Jenny), Albert, Tony (Maxine), Joe (Katherine), Nick (Annie) and his twin, Alfred (Lailoni), Ben Villanueva Jr., Hope (Frank), Delores, Marylou (Jim) and Elizabeth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arthur worked hard, complained little and always had a comforting word. He was an ace mechanic, welder and body man. He was restoring his '37 Ford, after many years of helping others restore and paint their dream cars, many you see driving around town. Arthur always was there for his family, his pride and joy, his son, Patrick; daughters, Stephanie and Robyn; grandsons, Joseph and Adam; and most of all his love, wife, Dee. We wish to thank Dr. John Highfill, who was with him every step of his way at RMCC Sangre De Cristo Hospice, St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center, and the Angels on 5100 that made him laugh and so lovingly cared for him and our family. Also thanks to family, friends, numerous nieces and nephews; and our neighbor, Joe Harris, who has been with us in our time of need. Visitation, noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Angelus Chapel. Rosary, 7 p.m. Friday, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday; both at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, with Father Marco Salinas, as celebrant. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
