Caroline Frances Boughton was the daughter of Matthew Boughton and Rebecca Chapman. She married 1st Samuel Bushnell about 1845. Caroline and Samuel had 4 children, Curtis, Elias, George and Catherine. The Bushnell Family is believed to have lived in Kansas in the mid 1850s. Samuel died 1857 and Caroline married 2nd to John C Doty in 1861 in Fredonia, New York. They moved to Iowa and had 2 children, Judson and Caroline.
