Widow of Later Rev. George Malmsberry of Goshen is Dead.
Tazetta C. Malmsberry, widow of the late Rev. George B. Malmsberry died at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ellyson, one mile east of Damascus, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock after a long illness from a complication of diseases. She was born in Goshen township in 1842 and is survived by two children, Mrs. Walter Ellyson of Damascus and Arivne Malmsberry of Goshen, also by one brother, Lewis Cattell of Goshen and two nephews, Charles and Herman Cattell of Alliance. Mrs. John Johnson of Alliance is also a near relative of the deceased.
She was a birthright member of the Goshen Friends church of which she remained a member until death. She was a valued church worker and humanitarian and was beloved by a large circle of friends. Funeral announcement will be make later.

Tazetta C. Malmsberry, a faithful Elder of East Goshen Friends Church, O, died July 23, 1914, aged 71 years.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Cattell and lived her entire life near the East Goshen neighborhood. In 1862 she was married to George B. Malmsberry, who preceded her in death, Dec. 10, 1910. To this union was born two children Arvine J. Malmsberry and Sarah A. Ellyson. Five grandchildren, one great grand child and one brother, Lewis Cattell, all survive her. She had been in poor health the past year, confined to her room and bed for several months. She longed to be relieved from her suffering and join the loved ones with the Saviour.
She was a birthright member of Friends, was in sympathy with forward movements of the church, active and faithful in her sphere. Her sweet Christian life was a blessing to all who knew her. Se loved her Bible and the truths and promises brought comfort to her.
Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Isaac Stratton and assisted by John Pennington.
We miss our precious Mother’s love and prayers, But are comforted with the thought that she is reaping the reward of a devoted Christian life. Her beautiful life is a benediction to us forever.
