"Mrs. Inez Brower of Rochester Dies"
"Mrs. Inez Brower, 77, of 109 N. W. 16th St., Rochester, a long-time Rochester sales clerk, was found dead in her home Friday evening. She had died the day before. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
Mrs. Brower was born March 1, 1903, [daughter of Herman Martin Benson and Anna Katerine Voigts] in Rochester. The former Inez Mae Benson. She married W. Earl Brower on Oct. 28, 1925, in Rochester.
The couple lived in Rochester until 1931, when they moved to Buffalo, N.Y. They returned to Rochester in 1946. Mr. Brower preceded her in death in 1947.
Mrs. Brower was employed for a number of years as a sales clerk at Massey's and Dayton's before retiring in 1965.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marshall (Deloris) Runge of Rochester, N. Y. and Mrs. Herbert (Marilyn) Sandberg of Rochester, one son, William Brower of San Jose, Calif, eight grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Owens of Colorado Springs, Colo, and one brother, Ivan Benson of Del Ray, Fla. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
The funeral service will e 10:20 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church Rochester with the Rev. Glenn Armstrong, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hargesheimer Mortuary from 4 p.m. Tuesday and until 10 a.m. Wednesday."
