Blanch died on her 72nd birthday of carcinoma of the pyorus [The pylorus is the part of the stomach that connects to the duodenum which is the beginning of the small intestines.] She was buried August 26, 1919 in Grandview East Cemetery in Gentry County, Missouri.
NOTE: There is a REED monument also. Blanch's sister Anna married William Reed.
