The Harlan Tribune, Wednesday, September 27, 1916

Last Wednesday evening when Mr. Fred Pimple arrived home from a weeks visit with his brother, John, in Sterling, Colo., he found his sister, Mrs. Annie Hoffman, in an unconscious condition in which she remained until her death at 5:00 o'clock the next morning. The children were all called to her bedside.

(Additional info for the Anna Pimpl Hoffmann site. Anna was born in what was then Rojau, Bohemia, Austria. After WWII, the Russians took over the area and it is now part of the Czech Republic. She died in Panama, Shelby, Iowa, USA.
