Judias Buenoano died at the age of 54, 5 days before her 55th Birthday. She was electrocuted in the State's Electric Chair at Florida State Prison in Stark, Florida, tho was housed at Lowell's Women's Correctional Institute, in Lowell, Florida. She was known as Florida's Black Widow. Charged with poisening her husband, James Goodyear, in 1971. He died three months after returning from Vietnam, he was an Air Force Sergeant. His body had been exhumed 12 years later, after his wife became a suspect in another poisening case. In 1984 a jury convicted her of deliberately killing her 19 year old partially paralyzed son, Michael Goodyear, sentencing her to Life in Prison. He was unable to walk or use his hands and wore heavy leg braces. In 1980, she took him and his younger brother, James Goodyear out canoeing, the canoe overturned. She and James made it to shore, he didn't stand a chance, with his braces weighing him down. They later suspected arsenic poisening may have led to his paralysis. In 1984, a jury convicted her again of attempting to kill her boyfriend, a Pensacola Businessman, John Gentry. In 1983 she pretended she was pregnant and told him to go out and celebrate the news with her, when he started the car, a bomb exploded. He was seriously injured, but survived. Some of the vitamin capsules she was giving him, contained arsenic. She had collected over $240,000.00 in Insurance money from the deaths of her husband, a son, and another boyfriend. She never admitted to any of the killings. Yet claimed she found religeon in Prison.
