Isaac Smith was a Doctor and somewhat distinguished for his skill in surgery in "setting bones". He lived in the Town of Stamford at a place called "Lawrence's Farm" or shorter, "The Farms."

Executor refused to qualify and letters granted to William White, page 410. Inventory taken Mar. 29, 1803, by Timothy Reynolds and Seth Smith, and filed Apr. 5, 1803, page 411.
Smith, Ezekiel [? Isaac], late of Stamford, Mar. 27, 1809, Philander Smith, a son of decedent, about 20 years of age, made choice of Silvanus Marshall of Stamford to be his guardian, page 505. Dec. 2, 1809, Alba [Alva] Smith, a son of decedent, about 16 years of age, made choice of Timothy Reynolds to be his guardian, page 505.
