Mrs. Robert (Erma) Daw, 76, of 145 1/2 East Front Street, Traverse City died at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility Friday after a long illness.
The daughter of Francis and Vesta Odell was born at Williamsburg April 20, 1900 and married in Windsor, Canada to Robert Daw, who survives.
She owned and operated the Da-We-Ah Motel in Bandon, Ore for 20 years, returning to Traverse City eight years ago.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Mrs. John (Lois) Gelmer. and a sister.
Surviving besides her husband area a grandson, Eugene Albrecht of San Diego, Calif, a sister, Mrs. Leamon (Reva) Lake of Williamsburg; a brother, Arnold Odell of Flint; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Reynolds-Hanson Funeral Home, Traverse City, with the Rev. Raymond Roe officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
