| Birth: | Oct. 11, 1921, Poland | | Death: | Apr. 16, 2011 Pittsfield Berkshire County Massachusetts, USA |  Tadeusz "Ted" Baginski, 89, of 108 Unkamet Park Drive, Pittsfield, passed away on April 16, 2011 at Hillcrest Commons.
He was born October 11, 1921 in Poremba Spytkowska, Poland, son of the late Andrzej and Wiktoria K. Baginski.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Polish Army. He came to the United States in 1948. He attended the Western N.E. College in Springfield and graduated from Ward Technical College, University of Hartford.
He was employed by General Electric Co. Power Transformer Dept. He retired from the Ultra High Voltage Research Project in Lenox, sponsored by General Electric Co. and the Electric Power Research institute ( EPRI). He was a member of the G. E. 1/4 Centurty and G.E. Pensioneers Clubs.
He was a member of the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance, was a former member of Berkshire Hills C.C. and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. (I.E.E.E.) He enjoyed skiing, golf, and tennis.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years Halina of whom he married on June 24, 1950, and several nephews in Poland.
At Ted's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services but a private burial will be at a later date. Published in The Berkshire Eagle on April 17, 2011.
