The daughter of John J. Jackson from Nashville,Davidson County, Tennessee and Mary Emaline Rose from Schuyler County, Illinois.Her grandparents were Commodore Stephen Decatur Rose, born August 12, 1818 in Graves County, Kentucky near the Tennessee State line and Elizabeth A. Peckenpaugh Rose who died on the Oregon trail, she is buried in an unmarked grave.
Della married Joseph Lane Boyle December 25, 1886 in Canyonville, Oregon.They were the parents of seven children.Their children were: Mary Grace, William Clifford, Thurman John ,Mildred Ruth, Wayne Joseph,Lawrence Jackson, and Lewis Conrad Boyle.
Della was the first teacher in Glendale Oregon. She inherited the Jackson property in Canyonville. When Della went into the nursing home she signed all the her property over to her son Lawrence.
Lawrence in turn donated Block 1 of the land for Canyonville Pioneer Park and also donated land at the southeast corner of I-5 highway and Fifth Street as a site for a historical museum.He once said he wanted it named the Isaac Boyle Museum.
