Levi was a private and lieutenant in the Washington Co., PA toward the end of the war. He served under Capt. Benjamin Stitt and Lts. James Blackburn and Elijah MIlls. He was a ranger on the Pennsylvania frontier, assisting in settling the Indian troubles in the region. He continued to serve in the county militia beyond 1790. He is listed as a guide and pilot on the White Woman's Campaign in 1790-91. He died on his farm in Pleasant Twp, Knox County, Ohio.
