Daniel married Hattie May English on 27 Oct 1902 in Towanda, PA. In 1952 they celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Shortly after they were married, they relocated their young family from PA to Wayne Co., NY sometime between 1910-1920 as indicated by census records where hey lived in both Macedon and Lyons over the next several years. The family eventually settled down in Fairport, Monroe Co., NY.

They had nine children, some of their children are:
