Carmen Ciofani Fatally Injured
Following injuries received while employed on the Shasta dam project, Carmen J. Ciofani, resident of Reno, died Tuesday at a Redding, Calif., hospital, it was announced here yesterday.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 8:30 a. m. at the Ross-Burke Company chapel, then to St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral, where a requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in Mountain View cemetery.
Recitation of the rosary will take place at 7:30 o'clock tonight at the chapel. A native of San Francisco, aged 49 years, Mr. Ciofani has spent much of his life in Reno, being a cement worker by occupation. He was a member of the Reno Aerie of Eagles.
Surviving are three sisters and a brother, Mrs. J. Spina, Mrs. Frank Sbriglia and Frank Ciofani of Reno and Mrs. Edwin Dollein of Los Angeles.
