Per the WHITNEY FAMILY of CT:
"David Osborn was named as eldest son in his father's Distribution of Estate, 6 APR 1758 (no mention was made of his elder brother Richard who was probably deceased). David was a farmer. He married Hannah Mead, sister of Joseph Mead and settled, before 4 FEB 1768, at Starr's Plain, west part of Danbury CT. David died in the spring of 1807. at Starr's Plain, and was buried there with his two wives; but no headstones mark their place of rest."
