Son of Maxwell Case, Sr. and Julia Ross Porter Case.

Husband of Lola Louise Barnhill Case.

Maxwell, who resided at 2310 Monroe Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Corporal, HHC, 503rd Parachute Infantry, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on April 29, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was noted as being employed as an inspectors and as being Married.

He was "Killed In Action" on Corregidor while serving as an intelligence scout and was awarded the Bronze Star twice and also a Purple Heart.

He had served with the Army for one year and ten months at the time of his death.
