Mina Montville Craswell, daughter of Henry Montville and Sybil Pike Montville, grew up in MN. Her Pike relatives include Zebulan Pike, discoverer of Pike's Peak and Anson Pike, who along with Abraham Lincoln, built the first schoolhouse in Bloomington IL.
She married James Craswell in 1905. They had two sons, Claire and Herbert. In 1919, the family moved to Kent WA where Mina ran a boarding house and later worked as a florist.
