Gould, Luke. Enlisted in company D. Seventh Cavalry, Sept. 9, 1864, at Wheatfield, for 1 year, age 40. Mustered Sept. 9, 1864. Joined regiment Oct 30, 1864. Admitted to Harper Hospital July 5, 1865. Discharged at Detroit, Mich., Aug 7, 1865

Married First Polly Tobias and Second April 12 1868 to Eliza Culy Harkness. 2nd wife Eliza's maiden name was Culy. she married Darwin Harkness 1 May 1850. She married Luke Mattison Gould 12 April 1868. They had two sons John and William. She died 8 Jul 1905 in Geneva Twp., Midland Co., MI. On the 1900
Census her birth is listed as Feb 1835 in England. Her death certificate lists her date of Birth as 2 August 1835 in England. She Immigrated in 1836. She is buried in Coleman Cemetery, Midland Co., MI
