She was married to Lars Hansen Newman (1842-1918)
Her Utah Cemetery Index shows the name Anne, but the "A" stands for Anse. She was indeed born in Norway. Her MAIDEN name is Oleson, since the names go by the father's first name over there.
Then she married her first husband, and became a Nielson. After he died, she went out to Utah with a 2nd husband, Lars Hansen Newman, leaving behind her 2 year old daughter from her previous marriage. They went to Utah to be with Brigham Young. Many years later, when grown up, the step-daughter who had been left behind in Norway and married Lars as well. Thus they were mother/daughter AND sister-wives. Very complicated.
When her daughter died before her, she cared for her daughter's younger children. We have this information from her granddaughter who was partly raised by her, and that is how we know all of this
