Cora Nell Richerson Porter, 57, 102 Brook Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edd Richerson and Stella Colvin Richerson, was born in Taylor County Kentucky April 18,1936.
She died at 2:50 am Saturday May 8, 1993 due to an illness.
Porter was a member of the Saloma Baptist Church and a retired employee of Houchens Foods.
She was married to Charles L. Porter on Dec. 3, 1954, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters and three son in laws. Stella (Ricky) Bright of Elkhorn, Stacey Hall and Vanessa James H.(Jimmy) Graybeal all of Campbellsville, and Beverly (Mike) Rucker of Wahiawa, Hawaii;Two grandughters and three grandsons, Becky Hall, Krista and Westley Graybeal all of Campbellsville and Adam Bright and Benjamin Bright, both of Elkhorn;and four brothers and two sisters; Leonard Richerson of Campbellsville, Larry Richerson of Shepherdsville, Eddie Richerson, Fred Richerson and Barbara Maupin, all of Louisville and Aileen Maupin of Okolona.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Louise York in 1953 and Arthur Richerson in 1990.
Funeral service was 1 PM, Tuesday, May 11 at the Parrot and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by the Rev. Terry Bright and the Rev. Jim Collison. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery Section J.
Pallbearers were Preston Pyles, Larry Marcum, Bobby Rodgers, Wally Humphress, Eddie Milby and Danny Burris.
