John Warden Bond was the son of William Bond and Fanny (Walker) Bond. He was the brother of Anna , Walker, William , Thomas and Robert Bond.
He married first Mary "Molly" Sale about April 1789 in Caroline, Virginia. They had the following children: Robert, William , Walker, John and Elizabeth .
Military service: He enlisted and was inducted into thd Revolutionary Army at 17 years of age, about 1778.
In 1779 he was in the 4th or 5th Regiment Continental
Line from Williamsburg. Col Porterfields Regiment under Captain Thomas Drew.
In 1803 he emigrated from Virginia to Kentucky.
He married secondly, Johanna Holladay on Dec 21, 1813, in Gallatin County, Ky.
Their children were: Frances A, Beuford,Georgia Ann, Benjamin Franklin , John , Warren C, and Allen A Bond.
He was a farmer by occupation.

Note: Owen County Cemetery listing shows a John Bond buried at Poplar Grove, but a stone was found, with death date of February.so even though his son Beauford is buried there, it seems this John is still unknown burial.
