FARWELL (Special) - Services for Naomi Austin, 77, of Farwell will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Harlin of Northside Baptist Church of Odessa officiating.
Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park in Muleshoe under direction of Ellis Funeral Homes.
She died Sunday, May 24, 1998, at Farwell Convalescent Center.
She was born Aug. 4, 1920, in Mangum, Okla., and married Guy Austin in San Diego, Calif., on June 11, 1943.
She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1942 with a home economics degree and spent most of her life in the West Camp area.
She was a teacher in Roswell, N.M., and at Farwell High School. She retired in 1972. She was a member of the Farwell Convalescent Center Auxiliary and Farwell's First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for a number of years.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Stan Austin of Farwell; one daughter, Mikala Harbert of Dumas; one sister, Wilma Austin of Osceola, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Farwell Convalescent Center, 305 Fifth St., Farwell, Texas 79325.
