Birth: 1815
North Carolina, USA
Death: Oct. 17, 1899
Los Angeles County
California, USA

Sarah Dailey Cronk moved to IN from NC before the age of 25. In Mar of 1840 she married Isaac Marion Cronk, a widower. By 1850 they were living in Vienna IN and had four children.

They later moved to Hardin TN and then to Mission KS. By now, they had seven children Henry, Barbara Elizabeth, Amy, Lydia, Sarah, Isaac, and John.

In 1872 Sarah's husband Isaac died. On Mar. 9 1874 she married John Beck.

In 1876 John and Sarah moved to the Coweeman Valley, located in Cowlitz County in Washington Territory, to join her son Henry's family that had gone west in 1874. John and Sarah quickly grew tired of trying to prove their Homestead Land Claim, so in 1880 John talked to his son, William Taylor Beck, about bringing his family from Kansas to WA to take over the farm. Sarah and John, and two of John's sons, went to Pomona CA where one of John's daughters had previously moved. John and Sarah lived the rest of their lives in Pomona.

They are buried next to each other; neither grave has a headstone.
